What we collect
When you use Artango, we collect the photos you upload (temporarily, for processing), your email address (if you sign in or make a purchase), payment information (processed securely by Stripe/PhonePe — we never see your card details), and basic usage information when analytics is enabled.
How we use it
Your photos are used only to generate portraits. We don't train AI models on your photos. We don't sell your data to anyone. We use your email only to send order confirmations and delivery updates.
How long we keep it
Local-development uploads expire after 24 hours. In production, uploaded photos and generated portraits are retained while needed to generate, deliver, and provide access to your order. You can ask us to delete them. Payment records may be retained where required for accounting or legal purposes.
Third parties
We use Vercel (hosting and image storage), Neon (database), Google Gemini and WaveSpeed (image processing), Stripe and PhonePe (payments), and Resend (email). Each processes data needed to provide its part of the service.
Cookies & tracking
When configured, we use analytics to understand how people use Artango so we can improve it. We don't use tracking for advertising.
Your rights
You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello [at] artango.co. We'll delete your photos, account data, and generated portraits within 7 business days.
