What we collect

When you use Artango, we collect the photos you upload (temporarily, for processing), your email address (if you sign in or make a purchase), payment information (processed securely by Stripe/PhonePe — we never see your card details), and a device fingerprint (to manage the free tier).

How we use it

Your photos are used only to generate portraits. We don't train AI models on your photos. We don't sell your data to anyone. We use your email only to send order confirmations and delivery updates.

How long we keep it

Uploaded photos are deleted within 30 days of processing. Generated portraits are stored for 90 days so you can re-download them. Payment records are kept as required by Indian tax law.

Third parties

We use Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Stripe and PhonePe (payments), Resend (email), and Vercel Blob (image storage). Each processes only the minimum data needed to provide their service.

Cookies & tracking

We use a device fingerprint to manage one free generation per device. We use analytics to understand how people use Artango so we can make it better. We don't use tracking for advertising.

Your rights

You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello [at] artango.co. We'll delete your photos, account data, and generated portraits within 7 business days.
